Catching the Wobble Before You Crash
When my daughter was about 5 years old, I bought her a motorized scooter. As she took off down the sidewalk, she looked so confident, so fearless — until the wobble started. Just a tiny shake in the handlebars at first. Then another. And another, and I remember thinking, “She’ll catch it… she’s got it… she’s okay…” until she didn’t. The wobble grew too big, and she crashed.
That moment stuck with me because we do the exact same thing with our energy.
Have you ever felt like life is moving faster than you can keep up — like you’re losing control, sliding toward burnout, or secretly fantasizing about a vacation from your own existence? That “I can’t do this anymore” feeling isn’t failure. It’s not weakness. It’s the wobble.
The wobble shows up as overwhelm, irritability, zoning out, snapping at people you love, or saying, “I just need a break from life,” wishing for an extended hospital stay to avoid the stress of it all.
But the truth is deeper than that.
It’s your Higher-Self whispering,
“Slow down… you’re heading for a crash.”
We feel the wobble long before the crash.
We feel the subtle signs: the tightening, the tension, the irritation, the exhaustion.
But instead of slowing down, we push harder.
We override it.
We say, “I’m fine,” even when we’re not.
Most people don’t pay attention until the wobble becomes unavoidable — until they hit burnout, shutdown, breakdown, relapse, or a full-on crash.
But the wobble is not the problem.
The wobble is the warning system.
It’s your soul saying,
“Catch this now so you don’t lose control later.”
That’s what Find Your ShiNe teaches you — how to recognize the early signs, reset before you spiral, and realign your energy so you don’t end up flat on the pavement of life.
Everyone wobbles.
The key is learning to notice it early — while it’s still a whisper, not a scream.
